Additional Chief Secretary of the Government of Punjab Visited CNAIC

Ms. Vini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Housing & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce, IT and Investment Promotion, Government of Punjab, led a delegation to call on Mr. Allen K. L. Kao, Vice Chairman of CNAIC, on July 26, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on India’s investment environment and ways to enhance economic cooperation between Taiwan and India.

Director General of India Taipei Association Visited CNAIC

Mr. Sridharan Madhusudhanan, Director General of India Taipei Association, called on Mr. Por-Fong Lin, Chairman of CNAIC, on May 28, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on future cooperation between the two associations and Taiwanese investment in India.

Director of Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei Visited CNAIC in April

Mr. Lincoln Bernardes Junior, Director of Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei, called on Mr. Liang-Tung Fan, Secretary General of CNAIC, on April 19, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the Brazil Business Opportunities Forum that is expected to be held by Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei in June this year.

Shikoku Economic Federation delegation called on CNAIC



Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry North Batinah Governorate Visited CNAIC

Mr. Abdullah Ali khalifa Al Shafii, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry North Batinah Governorate, led a delegation to call on Mr. Sheng-Chung Lin, Adviser of CNAIC, on March 5, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening economic and trade relations between Taiwan and Oman as well as future cooperation between the two associations.

CNAIC signed a MOU with Hokkaido Economic Federation

Mr. Lin Por-Fong, Chairman of CNAIC and Mr. Takahashi Kenyu, Chairman of the Hokkaido Economic Association signed a MOU, witnessed by Mr. Hoshino Mitsuaki, the Chief Deputy Representative of the Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association and Amb. John Chi-Tai Feng. The representatives present from the Hokkaido Economic Association included 16 leaders of important local business enterprises on March 4, 2019.

Governor of Kochi Prefecture, Japan Visited CNAIC

Mr. Lin Por-Fong, Chairman of CNAIC warmly received Mr. Ozaki Masanao, Governor of Kochi Prefecture as well as more than 50 members from Kochi’s high ranking industrial and commercial organizations on February 22, 2019. The two sides exchanged views on promoting economic and trade relationship between Japan and Taiwan. After the meeting, CNAIC held a dinner party at The Sherwood Taipei Hotel.

Chairman Lin received the delegation led by Governor Ozaki of Kochi Prefecture, Japan.



Director of Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei Visited CNAIC in February

Mr. Lincoln Bernardes Junior, Director of Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei, called on Mr. Por-Fong Lin, Chairman of CNAIC, on February 21, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on economic and trade relations between Taiwan and Brazil, discussing the cooperation between CNAIC and Commercial Office of Brazil to Taipei this year.

Commercial Section Chief of American Institute in Taiwan Visited CNAIC

Ms. Helen Peterson, Commercial Section Chief of American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) called on Mr. Liang-Tung Fan, Secretary General of CNAIC, on January 28, 2019. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the U.S.-China trade conflict, CNAIC’s advice to the government and ways to enhance cooperation between Taiwan and the United States.

President of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce Visited CNAIC

Mr. Samir Modi, President of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce (CACCI), called on Mr. Por-Fong Lin, Chairman of CNAIC, on January 15, 2019. CNAIC Vice Chairman Allen K. L. Kao, Board Director Chih-Yaung Chu, Board Supervisor Ta-Chun Lin attended the event. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the roles of CACCI and relevant international organizations, Taiwanese investment in India and the 33rd CACCI Conference.
