Amb. Siao-yue Chang, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia, called on Chairman Kenneth C. M. Lo on December 8, 2011. At the meeting, Chairman Lo and Amb. Chang exchanged views on the current relations between Taiwan and Australia and on ways to promote trade and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Teo Siong Seng, President of Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), called on CNAIC Chairman Kenneth C. M. Lo. At the meeting, President Teo invited Chairman Lo to participate at “The World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC)” that will be held from October 5 to 8, 2011 and discussed the ways and means of further promoting trade and industrial cooperation between Taiwan and Singapore.

Jang received Mr. Shigeo Naruse, Director General, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) accompanied by Mr. Masami Tanabe, Deputy Representative, Interchange Association (IA). At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the collaboration in promoting smart community project between Taiwan and Japan.

CNAIC Honorary Chairman Mr. Theodore M. H. Huang met with Ambassador Paul Wolfowitz, Chairman of US-Taiwan Business Council, on June 24, 2011. At the meeting, Honorary Chairman Huang exchanged views with Amb. Wolfowitz on trade and economic relations between Taiwan and U.S. He further proposed for establishing cooperation between CNAIC and US-Taiwan Business Council.

Secretary General Fritz J. C. Jang received Dr. Jack Li, Deputy President of IMD on March 15, 2011. Secretary General Jang and Dr. Li exchanged views on inviting IMD President Dr. Dominique Turpin to visit Taiwan in 2012 as well as future cooperation between CNAIC and IMD. Meanwhile, CNAIC also arranged visiting program for Dr. Li to visit several prominent domestic companies.

Mr. Daniel Chang, Vice Chairman and Mr. Hiroyuki Kaneko, President of Daiwa-Cathy Capital Market Co., Ltd, called on CNAIC Chairman Kenneth C. M. Lo on February 18, 2011. At the meeting, Chairman Lo exchanged views with Mr. Chang and Mr. Kaneko on “Invest in Taiwan Promotion Conference” to be held in Osaka and Tokyo on April 19 and April 21, 2011.

January 17 to January 20, 2011  CNAIC received FICCI Business Delegation

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) organized a business delegation led by Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Chairman of Valingro Exponenta Limited. to visit Taiwan from January 17 to January 20, 2011. On January 18, 2011, CNAIC held a seminar on “Investment Environment in India” at Taipei International Convention Center. The Seminar chaired by CNAIC Chairman Mr. Kenneth C. M. Lo. Dr. Christina Liu, and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Rawat, Director General of India-Taipei Association were invited to make remarks at the Seminar. In addition to the seminar, the delegation further visited Minister of the Council for Economic Planning and Development, Executive Yuan (CEPD), Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Nankang Software Park, Central Taiwan Science Park Administration, Tatung Company and Hiwin Technologies Corp..
