Taiwan and Miyagi (Japan) Business Matching Meeting in Kaohsiung

Miyagi Prefecture of Japan held Business Matching Meeting at International Convention Center Kaohsiung on Nov. 10, 2015. CNAIC was the co-organizer and Mr. Yi-Chih Chiu, Deputy Secretary General, CNAIC, delivered the opening remarks at the meeting. There were 21 Taiwanese companies and 8 Japanese companies joined the event to seek investment and cooperative opportunities. During the business matching meeting, approximately 37 talks were held on the event.

240th CNAIC Industry and Commerce Forum

Mr. Liang-Tung Fan, CNAIC Secretary General, chaired the forum on “Investment Risks and Future Prospects in Vietnam” at the Taipei World Trade Center Conference Room #5 on October 5, 2015. CNAIC invited Mr. Hsien-Chao Tseng, Negotiator, Office of Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Economic Affairs、Mr. Charles C. Lai, Honorary President of Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce、Mr. Andrew C. Y. Tsai, President, Central Trading & Development Corporation and Mr. Chien-Yang Shih, Executive Assistant to General Manager Taipei Branch, Mizuho Bank delivered presentations at the said forum. Following the presentations, Mr. Liang-Tung Fan chaired the Q&A Session. The forum turned out to be a great success with more than 100 participants.





CNAIC and Kyushu Economic Federation held the Taiwan-Japan (Kyushu) Industrial Cooperation Forum, Business Matching and Dinner Party

Mr. Leslie Koo, Vice Chairman of CNAIC, and Mr. Yutaka Aso, Chairman of Kyushu Economic Federation (Kyu-Kei-Ren), co-chaired the Taiwan-Japan (Kyushu) Industrial Cooperation Forum at Ambassador Hotel-Taipei on March 5, 2015. CNAIC invited Dr. Pin-Kun Chiang, Chairman of The Third Wednesday Club to deliver a speech on “The Economic Relationship between Taiwan and Japan.” Following the speech, CNAIC invited Dr. Chiang, Mr. Aso and Mr. Shigeru Oono, President of Sojitz Kyushu Corporation, to join the panel discussion moderated by Mr. Theodore M. H. Huang, Honorary Chairman of CNAIC. The Forum turned out to be a great success with more than 230 participants.
CNAIC and Kyu-Kei-Ren held the Taiwan-Japan (Kyushu) Business Matching in the afternoon. 29 Taiwanese companies and 17 Japanese companies joined the event to seek joint investment and cooperative opportunities. During the business matching, approximately 70 talks were held on the event.
CNAIC and Kyu-Kei-Ren held the Taiwan-Kyushu Dinner Party in the evening. CNAIC and Kyu-Kei-Ren invited 110 guests from Taiwan and Japan(Kyushu) to attend the significant event.
