CNAIC serves as a bridge between domestic and international business communities as well as other associations in order to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen cooperation. Prefectural assembly members of Miyagi , Japan Visited CNAIC

Eighteen members of Prefectural Assembly from Miyagi, Japan led by Mr. Aizawa Mitsuya called on Por-Fong Lin, Chairman of CNAIC on Sep. 24, 2018. Both sides exchanged views on cultural and economic cooperation between Taiwan and Japan.

After meeting, Chairman Por-Fong Lin hosted a dinner party at The Sherwood Taipei Hotel in honor of the Prefectural Assembly.

Chief Operating Officer of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Visited CNAIC

Mr. Philip Kucharski, Chief Operating Office of ICC, and Mrs. Lee Ju Song, Executive Director of the ICC Asia Regional Office, called on Mr. Thomas Wu, Executive Board Supervisor of CNAIC, on April 16, 2018. Leadwell CNC Machines MFG., Corp. Chairman Jeffery Huang, CNAIC Advisor Thomas Yeh, Secretary General Liang-Tung Fan, and Deputy Secretary General Yi-Cheh Chiu attended the event. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on cooperation between CNAIC and ICC.

Deputy Chief of Economic Section of American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Visited CNAIC

Mr. Michael Pignatello, Deputy Chief of the Economic Section of AIT, and Ms. Catherine Fang, Economic Specialist of the Economic Section of AIT, called on Secretary General Fan on March 29, 2018. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the recently issued Section 232 of the U.S. Trade Expansion Act, tariffs on aluminum and steel, and Section 301 of the U.S. Trade Act, investigation into China’s practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation.

Deputy Representative of Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association hosted a lunch party in honor of CNAIC Secretary General Fan

Mr. Mitsuhiro Yokoda, Deputy Representative of Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association (JTEA) hosted a lunch party in honor of Mr. Fan, Liang-Tung, Secretary General of CNAIC at Brother Hotel on Jan 24, 2018. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on trade and investment cooperation between Taiwan and Japan.
